12月17日，嫦娥五號(hào)首次實(shí)現(xiàn)了我國(guó)地外天體采樣返回。中共中央總書(shū)記、國(guó)家主席、中央軍委主席習(xí)近平發(fā)來(lái)賀電，代表黨中央、國(guó)務(wù)院和中央軍委，向探月工程任務(wù)指揮部并參加嫦娥五號(hào)任務(wù)的全體同志致以熱烈的祝賀和誠(chéng)摯的問(wèn)候。
President Xi Jinping on Dec 17 congratulated the complete success of the Chang'e-5 mission that brings back the country's first samples collected from the moon. On behalf of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, the State Council and the Central Military Commission (CMC), Xi, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the CMC, extended warm congratulations and sincere greetings to all members who participated in the Chang'e-5 mission in a congratulatory message.

嫦娥五號(hào)探測(cè)器經(jīng)歷了發(fā)射入軌、地月轉(zhuǎn)移、近月制動(dòng)、環(huán)月飛行、著陸下降、月面工作、月面上升、交會(huì)對(duì)接與樣品轉(zhuǎn)移、環(huán)月等待、月地轉(zhuǎn)移、再入回收11個(gè)階段，歷時(shí)23天，實(shí)現(xiàn)了我國(guó)首次月面采樣與封裝、月面起飛、月球軌道交會(huì)對(duì)接、攜帶樣品再入返回等多項(xiàng)重大突破，其成功實(shí)施標(biāo)志著我國(guó)探月工程“繞、落、回”三步走規(guī)劃如期完成。

嫦娥五號(hào)任務(wù)作為我國(guó)復(fù)雜度最高、技術(shù)跨度最大的航天系統(tǒng)工程，首次實(shí)現(xiàn)了我國(guó)地外天體采樣返回。這是發(fā)揮新型舉國(guó)體制優(yōu)勢(shì)攻堅(jiān)克難取得的又一重大成就，標(biāo)志著中國(guó)航天向前邁出的一大步，將為深化人類(lèi)對(duì)月球成因和太陽(yáng)系演化歷史的科學(xué)認(rèn)知作出貢獻(xiàn)。
As China's most complicated space project, the Chang'e-5 mission has achieved the extraterrestrial sampling and returning for the first time. It is another major achievement in overcoming difficulties by giving full play to the advantages of the new nationwide system, marking a great step forward in China's space industry.
