President Xi Jinping and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida exchanged congratulatory messages over the 50th anniversary of the normalization of China-Japan diplomatic relations on Sept. 29. In his message, Xi pointed out that 50 years ago, the then Chinese and Japanese leaders grasped the situation with foresight and made a major political decision to normalize China-Japan diplomatic relations, which opened a new chapter in bilateral relations.

2022年是中日邦交正常化50周年，這是中日關(guān)系發(fā)展的重要里程碑，也是歷史新起點(diǎn)。50年前的冷戰(zhàn)時(shí)期，老一輩政治家從兩國人民根本利益出發(fā)，存政治體制、社會(huì)制度、意識形態(tài)之差異，求中日和平、友好、合作之大同，作出實(shí)現(xiàn)邦交正?；膽?zhàn)略決斷。

邦交正?；詠恚腥贞P(guān)系在質(zhì)和量上都取得了長足進(jìn)展。中國改革開放早期的經(jīng)濟(jì)建設(shè)得到日本的支持與幫助，同時(shí)中國的發(fā)展也為日本提供了難得的機(jī)遇。中國已連續(xù)15年穩(wěn)居日本最大貿(mào)易伙伴，對華進(jìn)出口在日本對外貿(mào)易中占比均超過20%，3萬多家日企在華投資興業(yè)……2021年新冠疫情背景下，中日雙邊貿(mào)易額超過3700億美元，大幅刷新歷史紀(jì)錄。

中日之間有著廣泛的共同利益和關(guān)切，無論是推動(dòng)世界經(jīng)濟(jì)復(fù)蘇、促進(jìn)區(qū)域合作發(fā)展，還是應(yīng)對氣候變化、恐怖主義等全球性課題，雙方能做的、該做的事情都很多。這些重要成果不僅給兩國和兩國人民帶來實(shí)實(shí)在在的利益，也有力維護(hù)和促進(jìn)了世界特別是亞洲的和平、穩(wěn)定與發(fā)展。
