11月27日，第十七屆中國—東盟博覽會和中國—東盟商務(wù)與投資峰會開幕式在廣西壯族自治區(qū)首府南寧舉行，習(xí)近平主席以視頻方式出席并致辭。習(xí)近平指出，中方愿同東盟一道，推進各領(lǐng)域合作，維護本地區(qū)繁榮發(fā)展良好勢頭，建設(shè)更為緊密的中國－東盟命運共同體。
President Xi Jinping said on Nov 27 that China will work with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to advance all-round cooperation, maintain good momentum for development and prosperity in the region and cultivate a closer China-ASEAN community with a shared future. Xi made the remarks via video when addressing the opening ceremony of the 17th China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit held in Nanning, capital of south China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

新形勢下，中方視東盟為周邊外交優(yōu)先方向和高質(zhì)量共建“一帶一路”重點地區(qū)，支持東盟共同體建設(shè)，支持東盟在東亞合作中的中心地位，支持東盟在構(gòu)建開放包容的地區(qū)架構(gòu)中發(fā)揮更大作用。
Under the new circumstances, China continues to regard ASEAN as a priority in its neighborhood diplomacy and a key region in high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. China supports ASEAN’s community-building, supports ASEAN centrality in East Asian cooperation, and supports ASEAN in playing a bigger role in building an open and inclusive regional architecture.

今年是中國－東盟數(shù)字經(jīng)濟合作年，中方愿同東盟各國攜手合作，抓住新一輪科技革命和產(chǎn)業(yè)變革機遇，發(fā)揮互補優(yōu)勢，聚焦合作共贏，在智慧城市、5G、人工智能、電子商務(wù)、大數(shù)據(jù)、區(qū)塊鏈、遠程醫(yī)療等領(lǐng)域打造更多新的合作亮點，加強數(shù)據(jù)安全保護和政策溝通協(xié)調(diào)，為雙方經(jīng)濟社會發(fā)展培育更多新動能。
This year is designated the China-ASEAN Year of Digital Economy Cooperation. China will work with ASEAN countries to seize the opportunities presented by the new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation. We should tap into our complementarity and pursue mutually beneficial cooperation. We could create more highlights of cooperation in such areas as smart city, 5G, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, big data, blockchain and telemedicine, and strengthen the protection of data security and policy communication and coordination, as these efforts will help nurture new drivers for the social and economic development of our two sides.
